Comments: Seeed Studio’s outstanding service
Seeed Studio goes above and beyond to make our projects a success. Thanks guys! The two LCD adapters v2 I received from Seeed about 2 weeks ago were missing the the cables, too. I never reported this to Seeed. To my surprise a little box with 2 connector cables from Seeed was in my mail […]

The Seeeduino Film we covered earlier is now available. Film is a flexible development board that includes an Atmega168 with the Arduino bootloader. For portable or wearable applications, it has an on-board li-poly battery charger. Albert has been working hard to get this design right, congraduations on the first batch! Maybe when this is perfected […]

If you’d like to get your dangerous prototypes via a different shipping method, head over and cast a vote in the poll.
Seeed preorder overview and FAQ
In the summer of 2009 Ian Lesnet setup a Bus Pirate v2go preorder as a fundraiser for Hack a Day. It was a lot of fun, so he started Dangerous Prototypes. We’ve done one preorder project per month since September 2009. There might be readers who didn’t follow the Hack a Day preorder, so we […]

Interview with Seeed Studio on postal delays
Airmail packages from Seeed Studio have been extremely slow lately. We’re currently waiting on circuit boards and other goodies to arrive from Seeed Studio. Our order left Seeed promptly, but delivery is taking weeks. Lots of other people have experienced long shipping times too. We sent Seeed a list of questions to get a handle […]
Seeed Studio 15% off sale
Most items are 15% off at Seeed Studio today. This doesn’t seem to apply to our projects, we’ll try to get them included in future sales. We’ve been eying these well-organized, but expensive, 0805 resistor and capacitor value sample books. 15%-off might sweeten the deal.

Tracking orders from Seeed Studio
We’ve gotten a few questions about tracking packages from Seeed Studio, like the Bus Pirate and #twatch preorders. Seeed uses Hongkong Post by default, in our experience these packages usually take 4-7 days to arrive. When your order ships, Seeed sends a status update with a tracking number like EE123456789HK. Use the Hongkong Post tracking […]
