Today we’re on the second leg of our Global Geek Tour of India. We got together with other hackers from Bangalore and toured the city’s electronics sights. We started in the Jaaga hackerspace and continued to the SP road markets. We’re continuing work on the xQFP proto-board updates.

Final preps before our Global Geek Tour of India. Packing, and check in, done. We finalized the presentation we’ll hold at the Center for Internet & Society office in Bangalore on October 24th. The ongoing saga with the TFT breakout board continues. We’re contemplating how to support the BF flag in the HD44780 emulator version.

Today we concentrated on getting the Workshop Video out. Got two nifty tubes of scratch and dent chips from Microchip. Bus Blaster v3, and v4 finished validation and are going to manufacturing. Today we worked on editing Tomorow’s video. In case you’re wondering the video’s topic is video editing. We also put together today’s basic tutorial for LEDs. We worked on the 1.8” TFT breakout board as well. We added a joystick, a protection diode, and moved some capacitors around.

All mail backlog from Maker Faire should be cleared. Applied for a new China visas for an upcoming trip to Seeed, super easy but the commute is time consuming.
