Ed was going through his drawers and accidentally found a great Open Logic Sniffer case.
Can you tell what this case was originally designed for? The first person to guess gets a free PCB code. There’s another picture below the break.

Looks a bit like an iPod case?
It’s an old nano case, isn’t it ?
ipod , and it does look like a nano
Looks like an iPod touch case.
I just put my sniffer in the iPod case which is a little bit bigger (what a great idea, put the board on the top and to sets of probes on the bottom, fits perfectly) the case on the picture is slightly smaller so it has to be for the previous gen iPod nano.
Sticky tape the logic probe to the top of the lid upside down and use straight headers , then you can just flip the lid and be good to go.
It looks a bit like a Ferrero Rocher case.
Google image search wasn’t much use … it mostly returned red cars :) I would have guessed some sort of sweets or chocolates, but the plastic seems too thick for that.
Looks like a mp3player case, like one i bought from DX.
My guess would be an iPod shuffle or nano case…
Looks like the guesses for iPod case look correct. Here is an iPod un-boxing video that shows the remarkable similarities.
Perhaps It may be a “bussines card” box (that ones for almost 100 cards)
Here is how mine looks like inside the case of an iPod touch

Notice that space to the borders is wider so the case is probably for one of the old nanos
Looks nice enough to me even if I have no idea what it is/was :P
My closest guess would be one of them Chipod MP3 clone/wannabe iPod things :)
ferrero or rafaello praline box :) think closer ferrero rocher box
:)
Yeah the 4G iPod Nano case looks a lot closer.
4G iPod Nano unboxing
I think it’s an ipod nano 3rd gen case…
the box isn’t from ferrero rocher, I have one right next to me that I use to store jumper wires
There are two distinctive marks for the boxes made for Apple.
The rounded corners, and the recycle logo on the bottom.
Newest iPod touch boxes have the corners rounded lets say on the X plane, this one has it on the Y plane as the previous batch of last gen iPod touch.
The Ferrero Rocher boxes are thinner.
I would say it is definitely a 3rd generation iPod Case or maybe a 4th generation iPod case.
