Maker Faire Shenzhen was extremely well prepared. They provided translators for foreign presenters, and even table cloths. Our number one Maker Faire tip is never forget your table cloth, but here they had it covered.

We finished setup at a hotpot restaurant with Seeed Studio, David Li from Shanghai hacker space, and a few guys from the Shenzhen hacker space. A cauldron of stock boils in the pot, dump plates of stuff in and fish it out with chopsticks. It’s so messy they came around and tied aprons on everyone.
