
A box of PCBs just arrived from Seeed Studio’s Fusion PCB service. The XT-IDE adapter V2 board is now available in our Free PCB drawer. The board was designed to allow XT type vintage computers to use newer IDE type hard drives.

I didn’t read the full forum topic on this. But a stupid question comes, Why not SATA? IDE is almost obsolete nowadays.
Fair point I guess, but I think IDE is probably easier to implement.
Isn’t there any way to buy one of these either in kit form or assembled?
Not too hard to get the bits together and build it and it’s pretty easy to win a board.
Nothing is as easy as clicking a link to have an assembled and tested board shipped to you. Especially if you are like me, a person with shaky hands and poor vision.
I want one…
