Maker Faire Shenzhen China: Robots!

Maker Faire Shenzhen was inhabited by lot of strange and wonderful non-humans. Here’s a selection of our favorites.

This walking baby-bot is controlled by the elaborate headgear worn by the operator.

Barry Xu shows off DFRobot’s color following spider bot. A camera at the front tracks the red Maker Faire badge.

With four liters of water strapped to the back, this Adruino-powered heat seeking robot can extinguish small fires. Spotted at the Let’s Make Robots table.

Walking robots are big this year. Vstone’s mini robot can dance.

Another walking robot.

An Android phone provides the brains for this mini-walker.

A classic line following robot.

Not all bots walk on two legs. Chopsticks from Let’s Make Robots is a speedy spider walker that runs on an Arduino.
