Bert tipped us to the Sigrok open source logic analyzer client. Sigrok is a multi-platform client that aims to support most common logic analyzer hardware. It currently only supports the Saleae Logic, but Open Logic Sniffer support is in progress.
Preorder an Open Logic Sniffer for $45, including worldwide shipping. The OLS should start shipping in April.

Very nice,
I wonder if theres any chance of Buspirate support as well. It would be a easy upgrade path for a beginner
Good call – the Bus Pirate will work with it too, they use the same SUMP protocol.
Sure it will, as many other logic analyzers. Basically any logic analyser we can get our hands on will get support. ^^
Cool!
I first thought there was a cableset released ;) I’m curious about the protocol sniffer capabilities and whether it is easy to implement them (though I dislike python)
python = greatness.
Even your Windows client is not working yet with the Open Logic Analyzer at this moment, I could test it exporting de results with its app (VCD format) and importing it with PulseView. Very nice work!
I realy wish it works soon on the OLS on Windows, it is a really good application.
Thank you!
