and I’ll guess it’ll be used for a reflow oven controller. or a sous vide controller.

Dual K type thermocouples.
Can read either or do differential.
Definitely a thermocouple type digital thermometer, very similar to the ecoscan pointed out by Kostas, except that the TCs plug into the front. The cold junction compensation RTD sensor is visible on the back (and rather poorly placed for accurate CJC. Looks like this one has differential capability (TC1-TC2).

But The button layout doesn’t look quite right (buttons are too far left), and the PCB says AVG, not difference.
Dave beet me to the TES-1320 – that is the ebay one he posted, but I’m still not convinced.
It’s definitely a dual temperature meter, type-k/j.
