Errrrr……. I’ve left my super secret decoder ring at home today, so would you mind indulging me, and telling me what the ‘DEV site’ is…??? And, for the record, I think you must be the ONLY person ever to obsess about being diligent about year-end anything in ML China, ha, ha!!
Actually, if the company in question has some kind of foreign involvement or ownership, then you better be diligent about your books in China. It might be different from region to region in China, but from my experiences in Shanghai several years ago, foreign operations such as Chinese branch offices or subsidiaries of foreign companies were scrutinized much more by the local fiscal authorities than purely Chinese businesses of similar size…
