Posted on Tuesday, September 4th, 2012 in Workshop Update by DP

We received a box of PCBs and laser cut acrylic case parts for the ATX breakout board from Seeed Studio. We also received Ihsan’s Little Wire freebie – thanks Ihsan!

Made a big Mouser order to push out a bunch of new stuff by the end of the week. We started work on some electronics tutorials.

We continue learning KiCad EDA. Today we focused on creating modules, KiCad term for footprints.

May be I missed it but there are two items that seems to have gone quietly by the wayside: The souper sekkret project that was close to completion and the DP parts collection fulfillment quest. I am more interested in the latter, waassup dudes!

Sekret project is all done, quoted, and headed to manufacturing :)

Parts kit bombed out in the forum so I put it on hold. Next time I’m in Shenzhen I will try to arrange it in person. So I can check part quality without dropping for a full order of 100 kits.
