There’s some lovely circuits in here – just nothing I’m looking for. Maybe what I want is too esoteric…
You know those things called USB? Did you know they aren’t supposed to draw more than about 100mA, before requesting it from the controller? Well, I interpreted that as: voltage sources, that would remain disabled until they received an enable signal. Compared to Apple iPhone chargers, which simply send buckets of amps down an adaptor cable (with a USB connector on one end).
Maybe, when the 100W USB standard is finalised, this toppic will be revisited.
