  1. Hey there, Just wanted to let you all know that I had an email from Seeed this morning confirming that they have just shipped my USB IR Toy.

    I’m excited. I made an IR receiver in a hurry about 6 months ago, and it has since died a sad death (It probably ended up having a short somewhere). So, now I’ll finally be able to use a remote again instead of having to VNC from my phone :P

    Thanks for keeping me updated! And don’t worry, I don’t hold the delays against either you or Seeed. Keep up the great work.

    1. I just signed for mine, barely catching the USPS guy before he walked away.
      It appears in USB Prober as a Communication Class Device, 100 mA self-powered (may be a bug in USB Prober PPC), but I won’t have time to play with it until later. I haven’t hooked it up to the PICkit2, but I’m glad the header is there in case I want to modify the firmware.
