The Bus Pirate Arduino shield is a discontinued item from Dangerous Prototypes. I picked up the PCB via a free PCB coupon a while back, built it a few months later, and then finally decided to use it because I think I have something to use it with. Note the key word – think. This is what happens when a traffic engineer plays with electronics.
Get your own handy Bus Pirate for $30, including world-wide shipping. Also available from our friendly distributors.

There WILL be more to come. I noticed a few unsoldered pads on the demo board (to go along with the missing parts that should arrive tomorrow). I hope to get some time in with this over the weekend and post more about using the demo board with the Arduino shield before I go hog-wild with it :-)
Is that couch ESD safe?
Haha, I cringed when I saw couch!
I consider myself lucky. I’m usually at the couch when working with smaller things and haven’t had a problem (well, so far anyway). The wife and kids generally don’t like me running off to the basement workbench on weeknights.
