Bus Pirate BASIC scripting mode is back in the latest firmware revision (6.3). Since v6.1 we had to remove it due to memory issues, but over the past year we’ve optimized the code some, and space has been found to add it back.
BASIC scripting mode lets you write scripts to automate repetitive and tedious tasks. You can use the reference on our wiki to help you write your own.
Testing comments. Upgraded wordpress should fix the blank post issue, but how about comments spacing!

Nice to see BASIC make it back in– I have been looking forward to trying it out. I have a question regarding program size. The Bus Pirate menu options guide shows the following:
2WIRE> s2WIRE(BASIC)> list
65535 bytes.
Ready.

I take it the program is stored in RAM and the PIC24J64 has 8K of RAM. In that case, where does the 65535 bytes come from? Even the PIC24FJ256 used the BPv4 has 16K of RAM.
I think I still have the book that was published with the commented 6502 source code for Atari Basic. Wow.
