    Hard part is getting the initial coupon code for a free PCB to build – he did the easy part – j/k j/k – Good job soldering the surface mount components Markus!

    One question: Has anyone an idea why R5 in the corresponding schematic http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/Bus_Pirate_v3.6 has a value of 2k instead of like being the same as the other 10k resistors from RN3?

  • langwadt: a HC14 is a bad choice for an xtal oscillator, the unbuffered non-Schmitt trigger HCU04 is much better for that application
