Digi has announced the release of a WiFi version of the popular Xbee modules. They share a common XBee footprint with previous Xbee modules, and provide flexible SPI and UART serial interfaces.

Several models are available, including with whip antenna onboard or with RPSMA antenna connector, each listing for around $49.00. A development kit is available for $149.00.
That’s a nice product. There a lot of boards out there with xbee interface connectors. Price is also about right.

I agree, the price is really good in this interface. Will this work with my njrc buc connector? I have been looking for a chip that will work with this for a while now. Regardless of whether it does or not, I will still be picking up a few of these chips. Thanks!
