The MPLAB C18 Lite (mplabc18-v3.37a) compiler for PIC18 MCUs is now available for the MPLAB X Mac OSX version. Microchip released a new version of MPLAB X Beta IDE Beta Ver. 4.1 for Win32, as well.

Have tried to download a couple of times the mplab C18 mac installer, for some reason it does not launch, it’s recognized as a classic application.
Is anybody having the same problem?
Rename the .app to .zip, then unzip it. They seem to have messed up the extension on the file. I ran into the same thing a couple days back, ‘file’ saved the day by telling me it was actually a ZIP file :)
