Free PCB Sunday II: Second Christmas special

Happy Boxing Day!

Today we’re also giving away some of Sjaak’s SOIC Dangerous Prototyping boards, used in the 74F138 Xmas demo yesterday.

This is a specially designed SMD prototype board for working with SOIC parts. It has footprints for:

  • 0805  parts (59x)
  • SOIC chips from .150″ to .3″ (max 112 pins)
  • SOT23-3
  • 26×10 pin through-hole prototype area
  • Bus Pirate connector and breakout

This is the first of Sjaak’s Dangerous Prototyping PCBs. Look for this one in a week or so. Even more versions will hit the shelves at Seeed in January.

We’re giving away two of these PCBs, just ask for one in the comments.

Some stuff:

  • Yes, we’ll mail it anywhere in the world!
  • Be sure to use a real e-mail in the address field so we can contact you for shipping info.
  • First come, first serve. If we can’t contact the first commenters, or there’s no reply within 24 hours, we move down the list. You could consider making a request even if it looks like all the PCBs are gone.
  • Limit one PCB per address per month please.
  • Like everything else on this site, PCBs are offered without warranty.

We try to stagger free PCB Sunday posts so every time zone has a chance to participate, but the best way to see the post first is to subscribe to the RSS feed.

  1. Did Sjaak decide to give out the secret “Santa” link, finally???

Send one to MichaelZ as compensation for his swollen index finger (from clicking the dummy link in the first post) ;) :)
