Triac based Indecent lamp dimmer is a simple circuit and it doesn’t requires additional power supply, works directly with 110V AC or 230V AC.
It is a low cost dimmer circuit for adjusting the light brightness of incandescent, Halogen Lamp, Light Bulb load up to 250 W.
Features:

– Input supply: 230 VAC or 110 VAC
– Output: 250 W
– Triac controlled
– On board Potentiometer for adjusting level
– Power Battery Terminal (PBT) for easy input / output connection
– Four mounting holes of 3.2 mm each
– PCB dimensions 40 mm x 34 mm

  1. I suppose the usual expression of “dirt cheap / dirty little” got lost in translation somewhere (possibly right at the non-native source) and became “indecent”.

    1. Probably “incandescent”. I see Microsoft Frontpage in the tags. If there are no spelling errors, doesn’t mean there are no errors, hee haw.

  2. I’m not sure I’d want to use it without some kind of heatsink at 250W, especially at 110v. Might get a bit more toasty than I’d want. There’s exposed mains voltage, and no safety warnings. The tab isn’t insulated either, so double on the safety warnings!
