As far as wiring and software setup, it’s the exact same from the previous post with the exception of adding on the Bus Pirate connections to the SDA and SCLK pins, along with a ground. Also, I swapped out the Bus Pirate from being my Serial to USB converter in order to be the I2C sniffer and used a MCP2200 Breakout Module instead.

Hi Everyone, we are having Bus pirate v3a. we want to activate it in I2C sniffer mode,while changing mode to i2c it asking for speed and it gives four option to select.if we try to set speed in 400Khz by giving option 4 it not responding and showing msg as “write Ack 0x04”. if anybody knows how to set speed and activating sniffer mode,plz guide us.
