Here’s an entry in the Open 7400 Logic competition: Moving dot running light
Here’s my entry for the “Open 7400 Logic Competition”. Logic ICs are for timing, and nothing demonstrates timing better than LEDs, and Red-Green LEDs are frosting on the cake.

Tought it was mandatory to stick with non cmos 74xx series … I can see we can use any 40xx CMOS equiv :)
I saw this circuit before. It was hooked to a hard disk activity LED so when the disk was active the LEDs would go around and around.
