The Open Hardware Summit has released Version 1.0 of the Open Source Hardware Definition (OSHW). With this definition they would like to release a logo to be used to brand Open Hardware.
Criteria: The logo for the Open Hardware Definition must:
* Be easy to print/see on a PCB
* Be easy to print/see on a Schematic document
* Signify Open-ness
Please propose your logos, or comment on the above designs at their Definition Forum.

I like the middle one because it implies the C of Creative Commons license logo which most OSH has been released under to date.
Hmm, to me it looks more like a helipad marking :)
Over at NBitWonder, we’ve put together some Eagle symbols based on these logos. See more at http://nbitwonder.com/blog/2011/02/11/open-source-hardware-eagle-symbols/.
