  1. Ian and Co would like to announce the birth of a bouncing baby server (the sex of which has yet to be announced). Mother and Server doing well ;)

  2. There seems to be a hack going on with my account. I tried changing my password, but now I’m locked out. Interestingly, on the forum pages, I see “Logout [ Sjaak ]” on the top right, but any action requiring being logged in fails.

    1. Ian mentioned the new thingy is running Varnish, which accelerates HTTP via server-side caching. If they are on the scene now (or later), I expect they will see your message here and tweak the config.

    2. Hi doub.

there was indeed a hack going on with your account and I changed your password to stop the abuse and deleted the spammessages. Please use the password recovery and have it reset (I tried to send an email (a gmail.com address) through the system,, but I think you didn’t get it) If unsuccesfull please email me or ian and we can work it out.

      sorry for the inconvieniance.

  3. I see this for the forum link:

    In The Forum
An error has occurred, which probably means the feed is down. Try again later.

  4. Hmm, something seems to be a bit amiss, I was in before, then from main page of forum I couldn’t log in, just refreshed the page and seemed to ignore the login. Went to General section and logged in fine. I didn’t get the error that you mentioned though.

    1. I had the same issue, after clearing the cookies (link on the bottom of the forum-page) things went fine (at least better :))

  5. The message is still there and solid.
(I just powered my machine back up)

I took a snapshot, but I cannot upload it here.

  6. The old server should have been shut down, or replaced with an info text, before I was flushing my local dns cache I got to the frontpage of the new, but into the old forum, after logging in about 10 times I remembered to try to flush the cache (ipconfig /flushdns on windows)

    1. Sorry about the problem. I wanted to put the forum in write only mode, but there wasn’t an option. I didn’t shut it down because people need to be able to search for answers even when we are moving, and it hurts search rankings when stuff is offline.
