Before crossing into China I always stop at Taco Loco half way up the mid central level escalators on Hong Kong Island. very easy to get here from the terminus of the airport express train. As always, a couple carnitas on soft corn shells and a Sol.

you should compile a list of good and bad taco places around the world! I can put El Rancho in Paris on the bad list. I was not a fan.
I think most are bad outside a narrow strip of the us and mexico. Tokyo, Amsterdam, New York, and other major cities have been amazingly bad. Even yelp recommended places. That is why hong kong tacos are such a treat!
Let me add to the list. Avoid all Mexican restaurants in Belgrade, Serbia, and Corfu, Greece.
