Arup made his first entry in the Open 7400 compettition.
This is a simple water level indicator circuit which can be used to indicate water at 3 stages EMPTY, LOW and FULL by three respsctive LEDs. The heart of this circuit is a 4011 NAND IC.

Looking very good an impressive and would like to know the durability as well as the cost of one unit. Please inform me so that I can proceed further.
donno about the durability, but that shouldn’t be a problem if you keep the electronics away from water.
if you can buuilt it on a pref board, or have a PCB made, the cost would be ~$1 in parts…
