A graphic interface for the Bus Pirate is a common request. Pirateship was the first to be released more than a year ago. It hasn’t been actively developed, but the source code is now available and hopefully someone will run with it.

I might look at re-coding this in java, that way it will be cross platform
The project uses the Qt toolkit with the qextserialport-lib, so the source-code should be cross-platform already.
It needs to be recompiled for the target platform, the QtCreator IDE should be the easiest way to do this.

Actually, it already runs in both Windows and Linux (I have no Mac to test). The only problem is that the source needs some cleanup and updating. I’ll probably try to use the binary protocol now, but I haven’t had much time since last year.
