Seeedstudio announces Android Dev Kit Main Board

Seeedstudio is taking preorders for their Seeeduino ADK Main Board now. The dev board, which sells for $79.90, is fully compatible with the Android Open Accessory Development Kit.

Estimated shipping date is June 20, 2011.

    Well done DP. Google wants $400 for the Android ADK. I guess they’re learning something from Apple.

    Here in Asia, anything that works well running Android costs like $500+ for a couple hundred worth of hardware – plus it takes ages (If Ever) to get Android updates. Finally, everything is BANNED from Google’s Android Apps Store. Avoid this nonsense IMHO.
