So, guy spends time & effort hacking a chip appnote into a vastly inefficient version of something a single transistor can do, and then uses it to run an array of LED’s in parallel, totally negating the point of regulating the current in the first place?
I didn’t see much about how the LED’s are connected, but the PCB sure looks like they’re all paralleled :-O
Cool! Maybe he could have mounted the power resistors on the other side of the board for even better thermal efficiency.
