That is a curious extra segment on the right of ‘g’. Maybe for use with the decimal point to make a colon?
According to the datasheet (in Japanese) it is a –
Segments b, c, g, and ‘-‘ almost make a ‘+’ too. Nice find. What voltage range do these VFD operate over?
