AVR XMEGA oscilloscope and signal generator

bearmos found a multifunction MSO:

…it appear to be an MSO, with an OLED display, in a DIP package, for $35

The Xprotolab is the first mixed signal oscilloscope with an arbitrary waveform generator in a DIP module. It measures only 1 x 1.6 inches, and can be mounted directly on a breadboard. The Xprotolab can also be used as a development board for the AVR XMEGA microcontroller.

  1. I have one of these, and I must say, it’s amazing what they have packed into such a small package! I don’t own a ‘real’ o-scope, but I think this will serve my hobbyist needs for quite some time!
(BTW: They’re now $40 US assembled, but still WELL worth the money!)

  2. Has any one tested this board out as an antennas analyzer? I’m only interested because its the smallest I’ve ever seen and would be a great tool to have wile I construct antennas.
