Title: Pic 18F2550 USB CDC and Android ?

So of course I want to plug my PIC 18F2550 to my cheap android tablet !
anyone have implement a CDC driver for it on Android?

I found someone with interesting lib, but nothing for the PIC18F2550 ...

The USB serial for android lib claims it supports CDC/ACM, so it's worth a try using their example code and see what happens. I suspect you'll need to add the PID/VID you're using to UsbId.java and the definition into CdcAcmSerialDriver.java.

Doesnt it work out of the box???
it does in linux....

Did you trie conneting to the serial port ??

Well in fact it does works at least for making connection tests :o)
I had to add the PID/VID definitions in both UsbId.java, CdcAcmSerialDriver.java and also add permission filter in xml ...

So thumb up for that lib :o) 

I might not used it tho,  I might rewrite a part of that, in a real slim way in my application...
