I'm looking to get one of these (http://http://dangerousprototypes.com/2012/12/17/3d-model-bus-pirate-and-breadboard-holder/) cut and was wondering if somebody had a DWG/DXF or other vector/CAD version of it handy? I got the Sketchup model out of the 3D Warehouse, but unfortunately it's not scaling right for me (the thing is measuring in at thousands of inches) and without the proper dimensions I can't do much.
I mean, I guess I could measure my BP and breadboard and manually draft one up, but why reinvent the wheel, right?
My BB measured 55mm x 82mm and the holder was 93mm x 109mm.
The BP v4.0 was 36mm x 63mm.
Thanks for the measurements. Do you by chance have that DXF with just the acrylic plate (with holes)? I just realized I don't have anything that can edit DXF files. That would be something I can send straight to company doing the cutting.
Ok plate in dxf
Did you export that from Sketchup? If so measure the model in Sketchup and tell me what you get.
Measuring that DXF comes up as 106999.789in! Weird.
Sorry probably exported in meters. I'll try again tonight after work.
Ok re-did the file. 110mm x 155mm.
