Here is a Bus Blaster v3 JTAGkey compatible buffer with selftest logic built in. Self test passes fine.
If any of the BBv3 builders could please test in real world conditions, I'll happily reward you with something Dangerous Prototypes related :)
This archive contains:
*BBv3 JTAGkey type buffer logic to be programmed into the CPLD
*custom urJTAG to program the buffer into the CPLD over USB. See:
http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/Bus ... ith_urJTAG (http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/Bus_Blaster_v2_manufacturing_resources#Programming_the_CPLD_with_urJTAG)
*Self test app to test out the hardware. See:
http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/Bus ... e_selftest (http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/Bus_Blaster_v2_manufacturing_resources#Hardware_selftest)
Unfortunately, this buffer logic does not work with flashrom v0.9.6.1-r1704/Win32 (TCK/TDO/TDI are fine but TMS is not active). Described in details here (http://http://dangerousprototypes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=6719&sid=63912a74fa67c9df1f0d7c5b5c8f3b27#p60510).
I just bought a Bus BlasterV3 it seems the resources to use it are scattered everywhere. A lot of the links just take me in circles and to links for the SWF files for bb2. Getting frustrated here.
Will like to know which to buy. The Blaster or Bus Pirate or both to do JTAG and programming ( read & write) on Linksys and Asus routers and Amlogic Set up boxes?
So much reading confusing me.
