Bus Pirate Support / Re: Using UART baud rates not listed
Last post by USBEprom -
Hi DH.
You are welcome.
For what I know, you could use the utility named PicBaud.exe attached:
X
I state that in any case you will not be able to get the exact Baud Rate you wish,  but only approach its value as much as possible , cause limitations in the UART implemented in the PIC24 used on the Bus Pirate.
You have to run PicBaud.exe setting it for PIC24 and 32MHz clock.
Enter the desired baud rate 460800bps and hit calculate, then use the value from the BRGH=1 section.
For 460800bps enter 8 at the Bus Pirate BRG prompt. (command "b" in HiZ).
Please, take a look at these links:

Be seeing you.

ive found a few transformers available (many are out of stock or no longer available) but i have a couple questions. first is there a real need for a 12/24v dual trans, does the 24v only limit what handles can be used? and second the closest thing i have found is just over 6.37 amps 24v and 3.7 at 12v, will this be to much or does it have to stay 6amps or under. i found someone who would make them for me but i dont need to order that many of them for just a couple kits. appreciate any help

Bus Pirate Support / Using UART baud rates not listed
Last post by DH -
Is there a way to use the bus pirate to read UART at baud rates not listed? I have an ESP32 I want to read that I know has a baud rate of 460800, which isn't listed. If this is possible, maybe it's been done before and we have an example online, but I can't find anything. If you've done this before, how did you do it?

Thanks for any help.
