USB IR Toy: USB to Serial bridge mode

Firmware v08+ includes a USB to serial bridge mode. Serial IO on the UART header pins is converted to USB.

Speed and settings

The virtual serial port configuration determines the speed and settings. If you open the virtual serial port at 115200bps 8/N/1, the IR Toy should use those settings.

Activating the serial bridge

Send U/u to start the serial bridge.

Exit the serial bridge

Reset the IR Toy (replug the USB cable) to exit the serial bridge mode.
