I bought a bunch of clear shrinks at my local electronic surplus store, they sell it something like $1.50 from 1meter ...
and this one is the largest they got, it is something like 42mm when it is flat (1 inch 5/8), i only used my clear for specials things since i got more inexpensive color ones for general stuff :o)

I never had static problem... (I think ) ... but I guess if you rub it enough on your head like a balloon it could do something ... i don't know :oP
