SVG Plugin Issue

Postby KevWal » Sun Feb 10, 2013 5:42 am

Hi

Re the SVG plugin discussed here:

http://dangerousprototypes.com/2012/08/ ... r-cutting/

The plugin seems to be doing something weird for me, or it could well just be me doing something wrong....

I have 3 separate 'panels' in Sketchup, stacked to use up a 20x20cm sheet, however the plugin seems to stack them end on, creating a panel that is 6cm x 60cm - which obviously isn't going to work very well on a 20x20 sheet when Seeed try to cut it.

I have attached 2 screen shots to show.

Am I doing something wrong? All help appreciated.

Thanks
Kev

Sorry you ran into problems... The plugin was developed here http://code.google.com/p/sketchup-svg-outline-plugin/
I just found it and used it for single pieces. Never attempted what you did.

You should be able to rearrange the SVG file into any way you like, with a SVG image editor..
best regards FIlip.
