RickPAW ATtiny85 Programming Shield

Saw a couple implementations of the ATtiny85 programmer on Instructables... and decided to roll my own.

It's bare-bones, but gets the job done. It works as a minimal Arduino shield and has headers for 'jacking-in' to the uC. Goals on this one are to keep the design inexpensive and experiment with different board shapes.

Maybe... but the plan is to giveaway a few first. When I get the order back, I should have three freebies to send out. I'll post here when they arrive.

A friend of mine, "dude... what about the ATtiny84... no love?" My apologies if any '84 lovers out there feel left out! I'll double-up on this weeks PAW.

Freebie? Yes... I'll be giving away a couple of each when they arrive.

I love the ATtiny85... it's a fun little IC. No surprises on the implementation. Yes... I know that's a Microchip PIC in there - I couldn't find my stash of ATtiny85s - and it's late.

...and here's the ATtiny84.

I typically order a few more than I need... to cover mistakes. When I'm all done, I like to share the extras with anyone that's interested - the feedback is invaluable.

With that, I have two of the ATtiny85 and two of the ATtiny84 PCBs to give-away. You can send an email to rick [ dot ] winscot [ at-sign ] quilix.com or PM me here with where to send it, and I'll get it in the mail.

I keep getting emails on this... and decided to do a Tindie fundraiser (group buy) if anyone is interested.
