i'm making a micropov with 8 leds, 3v power supply and tilt swicth for sensing the direction. i made a prototype version of it on protoboard and the it works very well, the image is very stable and can see with naked eye. The final board will be all in smd and will have a button for the reset so after the effect or the pov it goes to sleep because i don't want a on/off switch. All the documentation is in the attached.
P.S.:i'm not a good coder and the function pov is very strange and complicated but it works and that is the important thing.the delay value "spaziolettere" is hand tuned and 1ms is the one that works on me. if you want to see a video of it PM me and i will send it via email
Always been wondering why no cellphone maker would include a row of high-intensity LEDs to the side of its devices, with all other components (including the gyro/motion sensors) and easier entry of custom texts already on board these days.
build the first board...and it works, it was my first smd solder so be gentle. i have to solder two pull-up resistor that are in the package that i'm waiting, but i program the pic without any problem and all the leds works.
