Solved: Bus Pirate not recognized September 18, 2017, 05:01:34 pm Hello,I just got my Sparkfun 3.6a Bus pirate in the mail and sadly my system (Ubuntu) doesnt recognize it. Once i plug it in, nothing happens in DMESG and it isnt listed under lsusb as a result either. The only LED turned on is the PWR. I can however trigger a reset via a shorted PGD and PGC and the Mode LED turns on, but that doesnt change anything on the problem of it not getting recognized. Also plugged it into windows seven and it isnt recognized there either.Sounds like a HW defect with the USB connection doesnt it? Or have i missed something obvious?
