Connecting a Test Clip to a No-Leads Chip

Hi all,

I'm dealing with a chip that is a DFN no-leads package. Given that I would like to avoid taking the chip off of the board, are there any recommendations around how I can interact with what minimal leads exist on this chip? The chip in question is basically this package style: http://i.stack.imgur.com/aXfNw.jpg (but mine is 8 pin instead).

Thanks!

Your situation is somewhat similar to this - http://imgur.com/a/ox4Ey
(but this guy had a WSON package). Seems that you will need to craft a custom test clip

Aren't there any pullup resistors you can use to connect a wire to it?
