Can I have a large hole in my PCB?

Hi,

I'm creating a board, which fits around a 10W RGB LED. Now I want to know if I can have the hole for the LED completly cut out of the PCB or if I have to leave the inner part and just create slots around it and have it connected with mousebites.

Please see the attached image for clearification.

There's a similar thread here:

so to repeat myself :-)

I normally create large-ish holes etc. on the the board outline (GML) layer. I've not had any problems so far with DPCB doing this.

Nice looking board btw
