Circuit Maker outline July 07, 2016, 11:36:46 pm I have very little expirence wth make PCB. So please guide me here :-)I have tried to make an outline file for making a PCB from dirtypcb without any luck. When I added the order to the basket I am told the following:Board outline not found in GML/GBR/GKO file.I have used the "Circuit Maker" program made by Altium. When you generate the gerber files you can chose to make both outline file and/or a keep out layer. But none of them seam to work for me. I get the same error from the website. The content of the GKO looks like this:G04 Layer_Color=16720538*%FSLAX44Y44*%%MOMM*%G71*G01*G75*M02*I have attached my gerber files. Please help me.Thomas Last Edit: January 01, 1970, 01:00:00 am by Guest
Re: Circuit Maker outline Reply #1 – July 14, 2016, 04:54:50 am Your gerber files indeed do not include any outline. If you search the eevblog forum for "outline" you will find a few threads about creating the outline in Altium Designer, I'd expect it's similar to Altium Circuit Maker... in short, "draw your outline on a Mechanical Layer and export that as your outline gerber"http://www.eevblog.com/forum/altium/alt ... d-outline/http://www.eevblog.com/forum/altium/i-c ... #msg110056http://www.eevblog.com/forum/altium/how ... #msg947495 Last Edit: January 01, 1970, 01:00:00 am by Guest
