UIT Pre-Purchase Usage Case

Good Day!

Reading about this product and wanted to make sure it will work for my purpose before purchasing.

It sounds like I can:

-Setup up the USB Infrared Toy on windows PC
-Install/configure software
-Read a pattern of inputs from a cable box remote
-Install/configure WinLIRC
-Use WinLIRC + Infrared Toy to emulate repeated use of cable box remote such as:
-Every 5 minutes navigate through the cable box menu to order and play a 3 minute music video on demand
