USB IR Toy 2 and Android SDK

I am trying to connect this device to my Andorid phone, but I am not sure how to do this yet.
Any of you have a idea how to do this?

The end goal is to turn my phone in to a remote control for my TV.

It is possible. You need an OTG cable to connect the IRToy to the Android phone.
On Android, the IRToy appear as an USB device (e.g. /dev/bus/usb...) and not a serial device (i.e. /dev/tty*).
To talk to the IRToy, your Android application can use the FTDriver (http://https://github.com/ksksue/FTDriver) which provides read/write functions. Check out the example application at http://https://github.com/ksksue/Android-USB-Serial-Monitor-Lite too.

Tried usb-serial-for-android (http://https://code.google.com/p/usb-serial-for-android) but does not seems support IRToy.
