Unable to modify some settings, turn on triggers

I've installed the latest firmware in its entirety from Gadget Factory and OLS opens fine.

However, i'm unable to modify a lot of the settings in the Capture Settings window. For example, under the Connections tab the drop down menu Device Type is empty. Likewise, under the Acquisitions tab, Number Scheme, Sampling Clock and Sampling rate are empty drop downs. Lastly, under the Triggers tab the type drop down is empty and i can't tick the Start Capture box within the trigger configuration section.

Any thoughts?

This sounds like there are a couple of configuration files missing. What version of the OLS client are you using? How did you install it?

Client version is 0.9.4. Not sure what you mean specifically by how i installed it - i unzipped the downloaded package from Gadget Factory into a folder i created in Program Folder?! Opened OLS (Jawis-OLS-Client) directly from that.

The 0.9.4 release is rather old. Could you test this with the latest released version (0.9.6.1)?

jawi, much better now! all seems to be working, but i can't work out how to get 2nd, 3rd and 4th stage triggering to be activated. the 'Action' check box can be ticked. any pointers?

Did you try changing the trigger mode from "simple" to "advanced"?
