a new ARM Cortex-A8 platform in indiegogo

I have disappeared for six months on the network because of this project. Before, I used to use Arduino for most of my project, until I try the first project with RPI, and I fall in love with the Linux and this cute board, so I decide to build another one like RPI , but should more easy-to-learn and easy-to-use, so it take me half of a year to make it out - not just the hardware but also a SDK on Linux, we call this customized Ubuntu :ITEAD OS , my goal is that it will as esay-to-use as arduino  , and it will have more interface on board than RPI  , easier to connect to sensors or other modules, even the arduino shield.

Now we have the prototype, and i have put it in indiegogo , take a moment to check it out on Indiegogo and also share it with your friends. All the tools are there. Get perks, make a contribution, or simply follow updates. If enough of us get behind it, we can make 'Iteaduio Plus - ARM Cortex-A8 Dev-Platform' happen! http://http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/498035/emal/4283045

Yes, thats a very interesting board, cant wait to get mine! Got it as an early bird. :) Should have bought a couple more, thou. But one is okay for the moment. Got the acrylic "case" too!

Cant wait to play around. :D
Web platform todo: bluetooth firmware update, some kind of database, GLCD.
Working: RS485 connection, NTP RTC time sync, I2C for portexpanders, Software PWM with timer interrupt, SPI flash(32mbit)

Maybe you could get away from the ...duino type name.  Perhaps an Itead-Pi? Itead-ARM?  However I don't think an ARM-PIT  (ARM Pi Itead) would go down quite so well!

competitor with pcDuino :D
but interesting, its compatible with most itead boards.
BTW, how is the target price? if all features are the same, the prices and community support will decide who is the winner.
Good job and Good luck also.

Iteaduino just the baseboard name, and we hope the final system will compatible with arduino use - you can find how to use the GPIO and UART like arduino here: http://blog.iteadstudio.com/itead-os-gp ... tion-demo/

For the new baseboard, we will consider to get away from ...duino type  : )

competitor with pcDuino -  we offer the eagle file for ITEAD CORE (http://http://blog.iteadstudio.com/itead-core-eagle-library/), and everyone can build his own baseboard , even the basebaord like DUOO ~
we provide the ITEAD OS SDK for users to driver all ITEAD modules and shields without low-layer driver coding.

if we can reach our goal, there may be more surprised gadget: pry stick, Heatsink, Micro-sd card reader, free PCB coupon for baseboard design, etc...

We just want to test our new board , and choose the openbenchmarking, then we found that there is a RPI marking record, so we compare our Iteaduino Plus with it ~

http://openbenchmarking.org/result/1308 ... 306301UT17

I don't know what the C-RAY do, and why the A10 CORE done so worse than the RPI, but in most items A10 is better than RPI as expected

ITEAD OS SDK with drivers, interesting.
only left $49+ Free shipping option, 31 out of 50 claimed. Not bad at all.
