Bus Blaster v4.1a BOM

Is there a bom for the bus blaster v4.1a. I checked the svn but only found v1 parts list.

Is this good enough? It is under Project (our wiki) -> Dangerous Prototypes Projects In Development -> Bus Blaster v4

Here's a Digikey bom for the Bus Blaster v4.1a partially finished needs the caps, leds, and some resistors. Can someone pls double check this bom just in case.

Looks ok at a glance. Main thing is to  get the right chips, crystal, and vreg, everything else is fairly unimportant.

@ian What is the speed requirement for the 4066 chips ? I used SN74AHC4066D from TI in my build, which works so far, but I'd like to be sure it won't have glitches at high speed.

It's a great question and one I don't have a good answer for off the top of my head. I did look into it and was satisfied, but didn't keep enough documentation. The 4066 passes analog signals, the datasheet doesn't give a max frequency or graph for example. There are issues of cross talk and propagation delays among channels at high frequencies. I would love to hear what everyone else thinks.

Hi there,

I was also thinking that an AHC4066 or something similar might be needed for correct JTAG or high speed operation, but that the other one would do for bog-standard serial.
I'm just SO glad that somebody has made a 2232 + programmable logic board where you can use BOTH channels of the 2232!
That saves me integrating separate 2232 and CPLD modules in something I want to build.
