Did you buy a charger?  How are you going to charge them?
I made one, but I'm not going to post it.  It's a real dangerous prototype![/quote]

batteries are what they call 18650, bigger than AA standard but seems to have alot more power ,

An Asus WL520GU for $25. Now flashed with Tomato with a serial connector *very* badly soldered on and a USB sound card stuck in its rear, awaiting further tampering, but in the mean time giving my laptop speedier internet.

What is this? Element14 started with silvercolor antistatic bags, then started using pink tea bags, and now transparent white pouches? Are they antistatic?

They are cutting cost. Only silicon based parts are packed in the silver antistatic bags. Remaining passive parts comes in the clear bags

You can manually charged them with a bench psu using the CC?CV method. I salvaged a couple of sanyos from a good laptop battery

I wasn't going to suggest that....... does your supply auto switch from CC to CV?  If those batts burn, I don't think that plastic tray will save you!  RC guys charge in fire-proof boxes.  I never leave them unattended.  I have heard too many stories of people who left them and went out only to come home to fire damage.

I got one like this one, i hope it will do a good charging job (correct CC CV curve/switch) ... i might take some measurements of theses parameters ...  (i only own a  crap pc hack power supply,  no current control, so no good)  ...

I ordered one ages ago, it has yet to turn up. So I've given up on it.
Just ordered a Beaglebone - it will be interesting to see how long that takes to arrive...

500 0603 red led $9.99

I'm going to build a charliplexed matrix with 110 of them when I get bored and feel like soldering that many 0603s.  I better eat my carrots in the mean time --- they are good for the eyes you know.

The batts never leave my sight whenever its recharging. Well all I can say it's as safe as they know what they are doing. Im doing this way until my hobby charger arrives.
Safety is always a questionable issue with those ebay charger. I saw Imax b6 charger going as low as $19 where my local retailer is selling at $38.
