I'm sure I can specify a color for the preorder. If everybody wants black, we can do black. I've started using non-black because I can't see where the traces go on the black PCB which makes it really hard to assemble and trouble shoot without a printout of the design.

Colors appear to be: black, red, white, yellow, green.

I'm not worried about colour, but Red would make a nice contrast to previous Bus Pirate pre-order boards.

yeah i went with red as well. i think its better than green but you should still be able to see the traces

Red would be easyer to find on my workbench LOL.

Hi Andre - We can get kits, but the minimum order is 20.  I'm probably going to stick with assembled hardware for now. I actually enjoy soldering SSOP chips, but it's not for everyone. If there's demand, I can do some kits in the future.  There's almost no price difference between kits and assembled hardware, assembled is actually cheaper considering the relative order numbers.

Very much looking forward to this, and still kicking myself for not getting in on the last preorder.

You really have to ask if you can get 10-15 people to commit? Didn't the last preorders go like hot cakes?
